Millennium Dental Mosman performs the ZOOM! Teeth Whitening procedure
ZOOM! Teeth Whitening is a professional-grade whitening system which enables you to receive the most popular cosmetic dentistry treatment available. This procedure is the fastest and most effective way to whiten your smile, as it can be performed in-chair.
ZOOM! In-Surgery Whitening
Zoom! Teeth Whitening is a non-invasive and safe way to whiten your teeth. It can be performed by one of our experienced dentists in-chair during one short appointment. No healthy tooth structure will be removed and the health and safety of your teeth will be protected. The treatment itself will involve a whitening gel being applied to the teeth. This will then be activated by a gentle light for approximately 3 sets of 15 minutes. You will be able to relax while your treatment is being performed and enjoy our state-of-the-art and comfortable dental practice.
Opalescence Take Home Whitening
Our take home solution will allow you to whiten your teeth while you rest comfortably in your own home. In order to begin your treatment we will need to take a mould of your smile, so that we can construct unique whitening trays to hold the whitening gel. It’s important that these are specifically made for your smile as it will enable the whitening solution to get into every crevice, for an even whitening effect. You will be required to apply the whitening gel twice a day for 7-10 days. One small squirt is applied on each tooth for full coverage. This procedure is gradual and will cause your teeth to gradually whiten over the procedure time.
Which option is better for me?
Take home teeth whitening takes longer to get to the desired result opposed to In-Surgery Whitening. This means that our in-chair whitening is much more suited to individuals who are time poor, or for people who want practically instant results.
Why are my teeth discoloured?
Over time it is natural for teeth to become slightly discoloured. If you have severe discolouration this may be representative of your diet, which most likely contains Caffeine, soft drinks, red wine, tea, or tobacco. Even antibiotics can cause teeth discolouration.
